IRS Notice LT75 states, "Notice of levy and of your right to a hearing". IRS Notice LT75 informs you that the IRWS has seized property of yours, usually a bank account or wages. The IRS uses Notice 668A(c) to inform you that have seized your bank account.
Steps in Response to Notice LT75:
If the IRS has levied on your bank account, you have 21 days to make arrangements with them before the bank is required to turn over the money to them. So, if the amount is substantial and you need it to survive, you'll have to call them to make arrangements.
But, you should not call the IRS until you are ready. They will ask you a lot of uncomfortable personal questions & it's best to be well prepared before-hand. Usually, this requires revealing your current financial situation with Forms 433A or 433F.
Required Forms
These forms can be difficult to complete and if they are not completed correctly the IRS will continue to collect against your property & money.
Fortunately, TaxHelp has Webinars which show you exactly how to complete these forms for your benefit & protection while carefully disclosing the items necessary to get a payment plan.
