You would think it would be easy to call the IRS & set up an installment payment agreement. But, the IRS can be difficult. The number they give you to call is an endless series of menus and you'll be on hold forever. Sometimes they ask you to call back because you're not in the system.
Don't become discouraged or enraged. Get used to it - it's inevitable. The best thing you can do is make voluntary payments to them until the case can be reviewed. Usually, you must complete Form 433-B to disclose the business income & assets.
When your file finally does get reviewed you must be completely ready or your case gets delayed & more expensive. Take our Webinar to learn the tricks & traps of completing Form 433-B.
